Your photography session doesn’t cover just me turning up on the day shooting away and that’s it. I spend as much time with you as needed leading up to the event creating a relationship to make sure you feel comfortable with me on the day and not a stranger! If this is just in Facebook chat or catching up in person, I am more than happy helping you out along the way. I know a lot of lovely people in the industry so I can also help find your perfect celebrant, florist or cinematographer (just to list a few).
On your day or at your session I will be there for you! If you need help with your dress or shoes or makeup, I will lend you a hand. I want you to be comfortable with me because this makes for AWESOME heartfelt photos full of laughter and fun. No bunny in the headlights, no awkward posing, just you and your loved ones creating beautiful memories.
I fully support MARRIAGE EQUALITY and believe everyone should have their special day their own unique way!
I’m the rainbow sheep of my family and I’ll admit, I'm slightly crazy. But what artist isn't? This just makes booking me as your photographer more fun. I do have tattoos and probably crazy hair of who knows what colour on what week. Even though this sounds a bit scary, I can promise you I am very professional and courteous of your personal needs, beliefs and requirements and there is always long sleeves and a box of hair dye available.
As a photographer I want to offer everyone the opportunity to have photos taken of their unique wedding with their family and friends just the way they are. I have been capturing special moments since 2008. I have the skills, knowledge, ability and high standards required to be an Accredited Professional Photographer of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography from 2016-2019. From 2017 to 2019 I was the QLD Members Council Secretary where I helped arrange workshops and events with other wonderful Photographers. I am currently undertaking my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art majoring in - you guessed it - PHOTOGRAPHY at Griffith University; Queensland College of Art. I have studied Fine Art throughout my life, which compliments my unique photography style. I was chosen to be a feature artist at Brisbane’s RAW Artist - ALLURE Showcase in August 2014, and I have been published in three magazines for my Alternative and Art Portraits.
I pride myself in creating photography to suit your own unique personality and the setting of the day. Each wedding or session is different, and I want your photos to represent you and the style of your wedding and the colouring of the day but in my own unique perspective. Also, I want to capture your little fun quirks and derpy sides, plus that crazy “rainbow sheep” of the family. Trust me we all have one. During your session or wedding I aim to provide you with photos that look like you, that feel like you, and show how unique and truly special you are and not look like every other wedding you see on Facebook.
For now, over twenty years, I have worked with people of all ages, sizes, cultural and lifestyle backgrounds. I have photographed portraits, events and weddings from a wide range of Cultures and Beliefs. Some of my previous job roles were in very corporate settings while others were gyms and festivals. I take pride in making sure everyone I work with is comfortable and has an enjoyable, fun day no matter what their background is. You can feel comfortable knowing that no matter your request I will always strive to provide you with everything you need to give you one-of-a-kind photos that you will treasure forever. I am open minded and non-judgmental. I celebrate of all walks of life and fully support Marriage Equality.
I have a great team of assistants and second photographers. They're all just as crazy and fun as me (but in their own ways) and have the same high standards and professionality I ensure in all our work. I will help you as much as possible on your day! If this means lacing up your dress or fixing your make-up, yeah, I can do that! Heard sheep to be in the background of your awesome farm wedding, yeah, we’ve done that! Roll around in grass, wade in water, climb trees and rocks to find that perfect shot … well you definitely know I do that and most of my team will too! You can guarantee that we will get along with everyone, even Uncle Bob and his awesome camera and he is more than welcome to take photos with us. As a team, we will make sure that you are provided with the highest level of service, you will have so much fun with us and you will receive high quality images to treasure forever.
Looking for other vendors? I have a worked with so many wonderful, different people and have Celebrants, Florists, Make-Up Artists & Hairstylists, Videographers, Cakes Makers and more I can recommend to you who are just as weird as I am. We collaborate as a team for you to offer you the best experience possible for you.
Wondering why Tidal Creations and all the beach themes? I am a Gold Coast Girl born and bred. I grew up in Mudgeeraba and surfed nearly every day at one of those beaches, but my home beach will always be Snapper Rocks! I have spent all my life no more than one hour away from my true home. I know the Gold Coast and Northern NSW like the back of my hand as well as the hinterland and up to the rainforests of Mount Tamborine and Springbrook. I love a good drive too! So, I have no problems travelling up to the Sunny Coast, down past Byron and even out to Warwick. My family come from Toowoomba so I’m always good for a trip up the range.

I have supported and exhibited twice at Brisbane's Celebration of the Female Form in 2015 and 2016.
Celebration of the Female Form was an annual event where art and performance come together to celebrate women and support the community. The exhibitions were a collection of photography, paintings, sculpture, performance and other visually creative formats with many of the pieces will invoke a thought, feeling and empowerment.
Keeping true to the ideals of wanting to raise awareness and help others, proceeds of the show were donated to important charities around Brisbane such as Brisbane Youth Service, Brisbane Domestic Violence Service, Butterfly Foundation, The Brisbane Rape and Incest Survivor’s Support Centre (BRISSC), Clinic 30 and others.
I am a RAW Artist. Tidal Creations was chosen to be a feature artist at Brisbane's RAW ALLURE Showcase on the 8th of August 2014.
WHAT IS RAW? They're an international community made up of creative individuals across the globe. Their mission is to provide independent artists within the first 10 years of their career with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity. They welcome all genres of art including independent film, fashion, music, visual art, performing art, hairstylists, makeup artists and more. They encourage the creative success of the many visionaries and storytellers of our generation.
HOW DOES RAW WORK? RAW Directors hand-pick and spotlight local artistic talent in film, fashion, music, visual art, hair & makeup artistry, and performance art.
